High Wizard roles
There are 3 main roles a high wizard can take during War of Emperium on iRO Classic.
- Damage Dealing Wizard (GVG)
- Full Support Wizard (GVG)
- Precaster
Damage Dealing and Precasting
The DD and Precast wizards should be built the same way.

*With Mega Resist Potion an alternative hat with Stalactic Golem card can be used, such as Ulle's Cap, Skull Cap or Moon Rabbit Hat.
**Marc is necessary as mindbreaker can not be used on an Undead (Evil Druid) armor wearer.
Skill build
The most important skills for a Wizard to get regardless of role are Storm Gust, Meteor Storm, Safety Wall, Jupitel Thunder A wizard build purely for precasting is likely to get Lord of Vermillion as well as Waterball for specific castles. Firewall is also useful to activate the 50% less cast time effect from Isilla card and help create hitlock during a precast or even help strip Kaite.

Wizard builds are flexible in that a PVP or PVM High Wizard can be used decently in War of Emperium.
Skills worth considering are
- Firebolt 10 - PVP skill
- Firewall 10 - WoE/PVM Skill
- Napalm Vulcan - PVP and 1v1 situational skill
- Frost Diver - PVP Skill, also good for sniping recall characters who may be using GR and snapping past.
- Stone Curse - PVP and 1v1 situational skill
- Lord of Vermillion - PVM and precast skill.
- Waterball - Very situational, but very awesome.
